BAF® Request: BRU-431-Senior Rail Transport Consultant Bid Team
Client
Our client is seeking a team of Senior Rail Transport Consultants to assist the CEO of an incumbent railway corporation to prepare the new company strategy. The company is poised to provide better traveler experiences while decreasing dramatically its cost base in the coming 3 years.
The Role
Currently, our client is evaluating the potential project size and precise timeline. Our goal is to position a senior team of 2-5 experts.
The role reports at Executive Group Management level and will be required to regularly provide updates and recommendations to key stakeholders, including:
- CEO
- Group Executives and Divisional Boards
- The Project Delivery Team, and
- External parties and Executive
Rail Transport Consultant
The successful professional will likely have held similar very senior roles in a large transport and/or services organisation, or in a supplier to the industry of systems integrations/major program management capabilities. Understanding the interaction between infrastructure, railway operations and commercial aspects will be critical.
They will have extensive experience in the transportation industry and a referenceable track record of/proven expertise/leadership in:
- Major trends in the railway industry
- Key industry performance indicators
- Real world best practices with case studies
- Potential disruptors and alternative models
- Impact of digitalization and customer centricity
Logistics, Rate & Process
Logistics: Starting in January 2017, with phase one taking place over the next 3 months.
Location: Europe; the team is likely to work virtually, applicants must make themselves available during business hours in European time zone.
Rate: Final amount to be negotiated with the client, and will depend on level of experience and seniority
Process: APT’s must be lodged by the time and date specified below.
