A rapidly growing FMCG manufacturing client is looking to appoint a Reliability & Maintenance Strategy Consultant with broad experience in whole of site manufacturing maintenance.

The Role

The client has achieved rapid growth and has developed its supplier list for direct & indirect spend incrementally over time. There is awareness in the business that a procurement analysis and focused cost cutting work would yield a significant benefit for the business. Available resources within the business are stretched.

This role requires the consultant to…

1. Conduct a review of the current supplier base and spend (direct & indirect).
2. Identify opportunities to improve pricing by looking at the current cost of goods bought and consolidation of supply contracts.
3. Develop implementation plan to improve pricing
4. Execute the procurement / improvement plan to drive down spend

Procurement Strategy & Implementation Consultant

The consultant will be working primarily with the Operations Manager to develop & execute a robust procurement strategy.

The successful ICG accredited professional will have significant experience including:

• Minimum 10 years experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role within a leading large scale organisation

Logistics, Process and Rate

Logistics: Melbourne location. Duration 10-15 days. Start asap.

Offshore and interstate candidates are welcome to apply but are required to meet their own travel and accommodation costs.

Process: APT’s must be lodged by the time and date specified below.

 We will review all APT’s and select the best 3. The client will then conduct interviews.

Rates: Final amount to be negotiated with the client, however, depending on level of experience and seniority, the daily gross rate range for the Procurement Strategy & Implementation Consultant would be between $1,000 to $1,100 per day.
