BAF® Request: MEL-420-Fintech-Procurement Review–Sourcing Expert
Client
The recently appointed CEO of a new ICG Client, a leading Australian FinTech business is looking for support from ICG to undertake a comprehensive review of its procurement activities.
The Role
The successful professional will work closely with the Client’s senior management to:
- Undertake a full review of the Client’s current external spend to identify short term opportunities for savings
- Negotiate new supplier agreements/reduced costs
- Propose appropriate guidelines/policy for future negotiations, contract management and internal controls over purchase orders etc.
Experience Required
- 5+ years hands on experience in supplier management/sourcing
- Proven strong analytic, facilitation, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
Preferred
- Formal consulting and industry background;
- Experience in systematic procurement analysis and cost saving (a must)
- Experience in the digital industry, ideally pertaining to media buying (TV/media and Google/online acquisition)
Logistics, Process & Rate
Logistics: The client’s expectation is looking for an immediate start and that with role will required three or four days’ effort a week over a five to eight week period (dependent on responsiveness of suppliers to meeting requests).

Location: The client’s expectation is the consultant will be Melbourne based and make the occasional (expenses paid) trip to their Queensland offices, although alternatives will be considered for exceptional candidates.
Process: APT’s must be lodged by the time and date specified below.

We will review all APT’s and select the best 3. The client will then conduct interviews.
Rates: Final amount to be negotiated with the Client, however, depending on level of experience and seniority, the daily rate for the successful candidate will be between $1,200 and $1400 AUD.
