An existing ICG client is looking to appoint a Senior Programme Executive on a one-year contract to lead and materially enhance its (IT) project delivery team capabilities, whilst simultaneously delivering on a challenging programme of activities

The Role

Our Client believes that its current project delivery operating model is suboptimal as is the value for money delivered by the team (approx. 150 FTE).

The successful accredited professional will be accountable for the day to day delivery of a broad and complex range of (IT) projects with a budget of approximately $70M p.a. and the concurrent review, design and transition to a more effective operating model.

The role reports at Group Executive level and will be required to regularly provide updates and recommendations to key stakeholders, including:

• CEO and Group Board
• Group Executives and Divisional Boards
• The Project Delivery Team, and
• External parties

Senior Programme Executive

The successful professional will likely have held similar very senior roles in a large financial services organisations or in a supplier to the FS industry of systems integrations/major programme management capabilities.

They will have extensive experience of IT and a referenceable track record of/proven expertise/leadership in:

• successful major programme management,
• transformational organisational change management and
• current PMO and IT Project best practice
• communications and influencing skills
• developing and leading an engaged workforce

Logistics, Process and Rate

Logistics: Melbourne location; starting asap on a twelve-month contract.

Offshore and interstate candidates will only be considered if they cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Process: APT’s must be lodged by the time and date specified below.

We will review all APTs and select the best 3 for an interview with the client. The client will then conduct interviews.

Rate: Final amount to be negotiated with the client, however, depending on level of experience and seniority, the daily gross rate range for the Senior Programme Executive would be between $1,750 and $1,900.
