BAF® Request: SYD- 378 – Property Development Business Analyst / Researcher

This is a BAF^® Best Accredited Professional Forward request. ICG is seeking interested and available professionals to respond to a service request.

Client

You will be supporting a Brisbane based ICG boutique consultancy firm with one of their recently acquired clients. The client is a Private Company and one of Australia’s leading property/real estate groups, investing, developing and managing commercial and retail properties throughout Australia. They are looking for a Business Analyst / Researcher / Consultant to support the team in conducting competitor analysis and benchmarking activities.

The Role

The successful accredited professional will assist the boutique consultancy firm in conducting peer / competitor analysis and benchmarking activities. This will include researching competitors (private and listed companies) in the domestic market to ascertain:

• organisational structure
• project delivery structure
• development/fee structures
• key financial/project ratio

The key objective of the role is to provide insights towards best practice in the residential (mainly apartments) property development sector.

He/She will primarily work with the Program Director (who will provide leadership and guidance for this role) and Business SMEs. He / She will have intimate knowledge or able to source available material from several of the following companies;

• Grocon
• Walker Corporation
• Mirvac
• Stocklands
• Lend Lease or other similar size companies

Ideally the accredited professional will have:

• experience in research activities of a similar nature
• experience as a management consultant or analyst (2-3+ years) or within a 
research firm
• knowledge of the domestic residential Property Development sector
• ability to compile research in a usable and searchable / sortable format such 
as Excel 
& Powerpoint

Logistics, Process and Rate

Logistics: Commencing early/mid June with the ability to work remotely however there may need to travel to Brisbane present insights.

Research only / duration TBC

Process: APT’s must be lodged by the time and date specified below.

We will review all APT’s and select the best 3 for the client. The client or ICG Account Manager will then conduct interviews and advise of further process.

Rates: AUD 1,500 to AUD 1700 per day gross.
