BAF® Request: SYD-451-Wealth Technology Executive

Banking and Wealth, Technology delivers and drives key components of the client’s strategy of creating a fully digitised customer platform where customers can access the full range of products, services and tools. The super simplification program is a strategic priority for the client and aims to simplify and standardise the products, processes and applications used across the superannuation business.

The Executive Manager role transforms, governs and guides the deliverables of the function in line with the strategic direction and business imperatives, always keeping the internal and external customer experience central for intent.  The purpose of this role is to execute, the entire Wealth technology strategy and plan (roadmap), including the delivery of super simplification program, encompassing applications at both Business Unit and Corporate level. This roadmap will be completely integrated with business, domain roadmaps, partnering, simplification and automation strategies. In addition, this role is responsible for the delivery of a modern technology platform built on automation, related digital services, agile and continuous delivery practices; and ensuring a critical focus on meeting highly secure cloud and internally hosted infrastructure.

The successful accredited professional will be accountable for the super simplification program delivery, provide technical advice and guidance to partners, project managers, business representatives, system specialists, business analysts and system analysts and drive support and confidence in the services and technology solutions across senior management and broader stakeholders.

The role reports at Executive General Manager level and will be required to regularly provide updates and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Executive Manager Wealth, Banking & Wealth Technology

The successful professional will likely have held similar senior roles in a large financial services organisations, solid program director experience, ability to effectively manage vendors, and be proactive as the super program is in the midst of key upgrade activities.

They will have extensive experience of IT and a referenceable track record of/proven expertise/leadership in:

• At least 10 years IT and project delivery experience
• Experience in IT and/or Superannuation operations in a large organisation within the financial services industry
• Managing an IT group
• Managing relationships with business customers in an IT environment
• Experience with wealth business regulatory requirements

Logistics: Starting early April on a six-week contract.

Location: Sydney

Offshore and interstate candidates will only be considered if they cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Rate: Daily Gross Rate $2000
